  3. I found her singing a bit annoying, but the quiz was pretty fun none the less. I scored a 5, which meant that i'm in the chorus. Needless to say, I did pretty good xD

  4. I scored a 9/10. I would like to learn more about the lighting designer because we haven't really covered much on what that person has to do in their job.

  5. I got a 5 on the quiz. I'd like to learn more about the job of a makeup designer. I think its really interesting and unique job because you get to transform the actors into the charecter that their playing. I think its also really interesting how they blend and create different looks and make everything really realistic.

Some of the challenges in this job include gaining enough skill to become a well paid make up designer and memorizing how to create all the different looks. They also probably have to figure out which makeup will go best with the lighting and wont melt while the actors are working and are onstage.

  6. I would like to learn more about any of these theater jobs. All of them are essential to the production process and I would probably enjoy learning about, or working on, any of them. More specifically, I think I would like to learn about the stage manager or the director’s job. Running a show is a huge responsibility and the jobs themselves, and all the smaller responsibilities that managers and directors have, are all important to the show. They need to know about every aspect of the theater to be able to run a good show.
The challenges are being able to cope with the stress that comes with the responsibility of running a show, making sure everything stays organized, knowing what is going on at all times, and knowing each part of the production and the production process. It would be beneficial to have degrees in technical theater and a background in any, or all, of the other jobs (costume, lighting, set design, etc.). You would also be successful if you worked well with people and have a lot of time and patience to be able to work on a show.

  7. On the quiz I got an 8. This week we learned about the various of jobs in the feild of tech theater.I would like to learn more about the Scenic Designer because I dont really know what they do and how much work they have to do to make the design for the stage. The job I think is most interesting is the costume designer. The challenges of this job is trying to make the right outfit for all the characters and makeing them all on time before the shows. You need to go to fashion school and know how to be a seamstress. You would need to work on thinking of great ideas to make the characters become real.

  8. The score I got on the quiz was an 8 out of 10. The job that I would like to learn more about is is Property Designer because I really don't know what they do and would like to find out. I couldn't even guess what they do if I tried to I can't say What are some of the challenges of that job? What is it about you that would make you successful in that job. What would you need to work on to be successful in this job? Because I don't know anything about a Property Designer.

  9. I got a 7 on the quiz! I would like to learn more about the responsibilities of stage managers/assistant stage managers. I think that this job is interesting because I think it's amazing how they can keep track of everything, it obviously takes a very organized person to do this job. I would probably need to work on my knowledge of the theater, both technically, artisically, and business..ly, and becoming more organized.

  11. I got a 8 on the qiuz. I would like to learn more about the scenic designer because we have not learned much about the scenic desinger in class. What I found interesting about the scenic desinger is that they are responsible for creating scale models of the scenery and the scale construction drawings. Some things that I like to do is design things and draw. So I think this would be a good job for me. Some challenges that a scenic desinger has to face is that construction might start late because of poor management wich would delay him or her. Also some times the scenic desinger is the last one to work on the scenery before a load- in, which means the scenic desinger will be vulnerable to delays in the design or construction processes. A load-in is the setting up of the theater for the next performance after the close of the last show.

  12. I scored a 7 out of 10 on the quiz. I would want to learn more about the technical directors job because it involves using your hands and im good at that type of work and it would also be fun to be involved in a play regardless of what type of job i was doing.

  13. I scored a 7 out of 10 on the quiz. I would like to learn more about the costume designer because we haven’t really learned much about it. This is a challenging job because the designer has to create the look of the character. You would have to have strong artistic capabilities, and thorough knowledge of pattern development, draping and drafting.

  14. I got 9/10 on the quiz. Pretty good, no? I'd love to learn more about the Sound Designer/Sound Technician. I love music and sound, but don't know anything about either of these jobs. I really don't know a lot about this job, so i can't say much. I'm sure education in basic music training, electronics, how to use the sound board etc. and all the other equpitment would be beneficial. A tough part on this job would be making sure everything is heard just right and all the sound is traveling correctly. I'm sure a lot of work goes into getting the accoustics etc. just right for any performance.

  15. On Behalf of Molly Sachs
I got and 8/10 on the quiz. I would like to know more about the Assistant Stage Manager because it is my role in the high school productions. Everything about this job is interesting, but the best part of it is being involved from the very start to the very end. The job may be challenging because of the fact you are working with your peers so telling them to "shut up" when they are being loud at rehearsal is not the easiest thing. I think that i am pretty responsible so that helps, but i think i need to work on being more proactive and more helpful with keeping the chit chat down.

  16. I got a 6 on the quiz. I would like to learn more about the backstage/stage crew. I would love to be a part of the backstage crew. What i like about this job is that the people that are backstage have a lot of fun and they help put on the production.

  18. i got a 7 and thats like amazing.

stage manager, beacuse it seems the most interesting. i find it interesting beacuse its a lot of work for one person. the challenges are trying to do all of these things by yourself. i would not be succseful in this job beacsue im bad at multitasking. i would really need to consentrate. im not so good at that stuff.

  19. I would like to learn about the costume design. I find that interesting because i am a dancer, so i have a lot of costume changes, so i already know a little bit about it. Also, because it sounds interesting to do. It is a challenge because you are doing a lot of things in such a little amount of time. You need to know how the costume goes on correctly, and how much time they have so that they don't miss there cues. That is why i would like to learn about costume designs.
